July 8, 2025 11:34 PM (GMT+2) The former home of William Epsen.
Later on, likely Clara Epsen’s residence. After her marriage, she left (presumably went to live at Mount Holly with Simon H. Sinclair), and then it became a historic house museum and tourist attraction. In 1972, it was designated a National Historic Landmark.
There are rumors that it was built by the first king of Orinda Aries, but it hasn’t been confirmed. (Perhaps somehow related to The History of Orindia (2nd edition)’s Ajera era??).
August 10, 2025 12:49 AM (GMT+2) The History of Orindia seems to confirm that the rumors are true. See the following passage:
Desilets was renowned as "The King of the People" and it was therefore a surprise to no one when he made the decision to move the capital from the secluded mountains of Reddington to the public stage of Oris, leaving castle and court behind.
This begs the question, who are the Epsens exactly? Why were they residing there?
