August 14, 2025 8:37 PM (GMT+2) Here I will collect all the knowledge I gather about the Erajan language.

Introduction

Erajan appears to be a very old language based on affixes and nouns. Modern Erajan occasionally includes verbs, but they are almost all loan words from English and are mainly used to describe physical actions. Erajan expressions tend to have multiple possible interpretations, so it seems like a very contextual language.

Affixes

Erajan affixes always come in pairs. For every prefix, there is a corresponding suffix with reversed spelling which conveys the opposite meaning. Below is a table of all the affixes I know or have seen. Affixes below the lines have been inferred rather than directly learnt from the whiteboard.

Prefix Suffix Meaning
aj ja first / last
ma am small / large
ov vo toward / away
nev ven new, the start of / old, the end of
el le I, me / a lack of myself
ul lu you / a lack of yourself
raa aar very, a lot / little, few (inferred from ‣ question 43)
odd ddo ? (found in ‣)
ej je inner / outer??? (found in ‣ question 40 and in ‣)
rot tor clockwise / counter-clockwise (found in ‣, together with the room description of ‣)
eld dle my / not my (found in ‣)
uld dlu your / not your (found in ‣)
ira ari ??? (found in ‣)

<aside> 💡

When personal affixes such as el and ul are combined with verbs, they can also convey intention. For example “elswim” could be interpreted as “I will swim”.
